Yagmur Ugur

Social Signals Improv & Student at Northeastern University

Yagmur Ugur has always been amazed by self-lead, intrinsically motivated, and informally organized idea and action generating groups. As a teenager, she has organized the first European Youth Parliament conference in Asia, an entirely volunteer and student led initiative. During her studies at Northeastern University, she has studied social movements, terrorist organizations, decentralized groups, and intrinsic motivation in the workplace. Now, she is working with TEDxBeaconStreet because she believes TEDx is the perfect way to decentralize thoughts and inspiration.

In her free time, Yagmur improvises as a part of Social Signals and takes classes at Improv Boston. She loves to photograph bugs.
