Paul Rabil, is a lacrosse player with the New York Lizards of Major League Lacrosse. Rabil attended DeMatha Catholic High School and played his collegiate lacrosse at the Johns Hopkins University.
Paul started playing lacrosse when he was about 12 years old at the time that was more of a backup sport because he loved basketball, soccer, swimming, and music. Once Paul went to DeMatha Catholic High School to play with some of the best players in the league that’s when his passion for lacrosse started to get serious. At DeMatha Paul was a 4x WCAC Champions, two time All-American, and Washington’s Post Player of the Year. Paul loved lacrosse day and night he would bounce the ball back and forth of the house and when it turned dark he would ask his dad if he could turn his car headlights on so he could play even more.
After High School Paul decided to go play for the most decorated division 1 program of all-time, John Hopkins University Paul went on to be recognized 4x USIL All-American (3x First-Teamer), 2x National Champion, NCAA Midfielder of the Year and John Hopkins all-time leading point scorer as a midfielder. Paul was taken #1 in the Major League Lacrosse Draft to the Boston Cannons, and #2 in the National Lacrosse League Draft to the San Jose Stealth, Paul began his career as a professional lacrosse player in both leagues. Since Paul has joined the MLL he has won MLL and NLL Championship, Awarded 3 MVP titles, 3 Offensive Player of the Year Awards, 6x First-Team All Pro’s, been named to a combined 10 All-Star teams, and set the single season record for most points scored registered in MLL history.
Paul then Joined Team USA and has helped them capture the FIL World Championship Gold Medal, Paul was named the Worlds MVP and Best Midfielder in 2014, and again Paul was named to the All-Tournament Team and the Worlds Best Midfielder.
