Eric Jacobsen is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Dolphin Capital. He joined Dolphin Capital on April 1, 2004. He serves as a Co-Founder at Gratitude Railroad since 2013. He serves as a Venture Advisor at VAST. He also serves as an Advisor at Buckhill Capital LP. Prior to this, he was the Founder and served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Home Financial Network, Inc.
He was recipient of the Frank Hervey Cook Scholarship in 1979, which annually awards scholarships for outstanding Montana students to attend St. Paul’s School and the college of their choice. A noted expert speaker on online financial services, he has presented at numerous industry events sponsored by BAI, CUES, Faulkner and Gray and American Banker. He taught a popular entrepreneurial finance course at Brigham Young University. Mr. Jacobsen received a BA in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University between 1983 to 1987, and received an Advanced Leadership Initiative and The intersection of Compassion and Capitalism degree from Harvard University in 2013.
