Chusy Haney-Jardine

Cannes & Sundance Winning Director; Founder, Plan A Films

Chusy was born and raised in Venezuela.He received an MFA from the prestigious Directing Program at the American Film Institute’s Conservatory where his film, MONKEY PARK, starred Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer who went on to star in PULP FICTION. His first feature film, ANYWHERE USA won a prize in dramatic competition at Sundance from a Quentin Tarantino-led jury.  His most recent film, the music documentary feature, IT ALL BEGINS WITH A SONG is currently available on Amazon Prime.As a film and commercial director, Chusy’s work has been recognized at Sundance, Cannes, Clios, One Show, Gerety, Webbys, New York Festivals, D & AD, and countless others. His company, Plan A Films, a wholly minority-owned film and media production company has produced and edited over 500 pieces of award-winning branded content and advertising for over 15 years.  Chusy has given a TEDx talk, appeared in an episode in MTV’s MADE,  and presented at Aspen Ideas.  He is an Eagle Scout, a recipient of an NEA grant, the proud father of two children, and speaks four languages.
