Happy National Business Women’s Week!
We at TEDxBeaconStreet are very proud of our women in business. We have several business leaders speaking for us this year, and their gifts for innovation and leadership have led them to great success. They’ll be sharing their stories with us on November 19th-20th; make sure to register so you don’t miss it!
Kip Hollister is founder of the recruiting firm Hollister Staffing, and a believer in work that’s more than a paycheck. Eight years ago, Kip decided that her life’s calling would be helping other people fulfill their dreams. She’ll share steps to help us find fulfillment in everyday life.
Karen Firestone is the CEO of Aureus Asset Management; she’s been featured in the Boston Globe talking about her amazing career and the book she’s written called Even the Odds. Karen will talk to us about how to understand risk, financial and otherwise, and make the right decisions.
Susan Ditkoff is a partner and co-head of Philanthropy Practice at the Bridgespan Group. She’s also held several executive positions with the Brookline School Committee, continuing to serve directly in her community while working on effective philanthropy, public education, and infrastructure issues at Bridgespan. She’s also very involved with Harvard Business School, where she is an alumnae. (Check out or talk with HBS professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter!)
We’re thrilled to celebrate this holiday with some smart, creative women in business. Don’t miss your chance to meet these women this November!
